Making Art vs Goofing Around Online

Well, I haven't blogged in forever. Mostly because I haven't made anything new to show you.

Life is good, though. I'm so happy to say that I finally met Tricia and she is just a great person all around. Time flies when we hang out together. We talk art, spirit, art, kids, art, husbands, art, blogging, art and all of it kind of at the same time. lol There is no awkward silence between us because there is no silence between us at all. This makes me a happy girl.

We've been talking about doing more art and staying away from the computer. She has been very good. Me, not so much. It is after noon on Saturday as I am typing this. I have been looking at blogs and facebooking most of the morning...oh and flickring and, as you may notice, updating my blog background and header. All very, very fun and I enjoyed it tremendously but I need to get all my goodies out and make some art.

I'm going to do it. Really, I am. And then I'm going to come back here and show it to you. Ok?

I like your new background and header a lot! That counts as artsy, doesn't it? :)

Sarah lol Thanks! I sure hope it counts. That's what I keep telling myself.

It's so easy to get caught up in the online stuff. I find that I have to give myself limits otherwise I just go from blog to web page and never get any art done. I do like the new look of your background - soft and delicate.

There are just so many talented folks out there. I never tire of looking at their stuff and reading their words. Thanks for the comment on my background. I'm enjoying it.

I love the new look - especially the header! now go do some art! I wish I could take my own advice though... lol... no art ideas over here! seems like forever since I last did something arty and good!

lol thanks! I did a little today but no real results...or at least no good ones. lol

I like the new blog look. Very soft.
A good way to "control" your computer time is to set a timer for a certain amount of time and when it goes off, go do something else. Or use your computer time as a "reward" after doing something else.

Sophie
