Thanks : )

Thanks for the encouragement. My house is nice and tidy now...mostly. The kitchen floor has been mopped, my sink is shiny, laundry pile is considerably smaller, the floors were vacuumed and I had some fun making a wreath. It ended up being a fairly productive day after all. I made yummy Philly Cheesesteak for supper. Easy but so good and plenty left over for lunch tomorrow. Yay. :)

Now I am ready to go to sleep but I must stay up until 1am to go get Caleb from work. Yawwwwwnnnnn. Maybe I'll try to make something. Ohhhh it's SAL weekend for the Needleroll. I better get started on that! Yay! Night guys. :) Thanks again. Love you.

Hurrah for tidy houses. Boo hiss for having to stay up late when we are tired. Mmm Philly cheesesteak. Sorry I'm very questioning today, What is SAL? :o)

Whoa, I have no idea how I did that...but it's pretty. lol

Sarah Good morning. :) SAL is stitch-a-long. Several people are making needlerolls together on the 2nd weekend of every month. I kinda, sorta forgot this month.

Lisa,
Did you get a chance to make anything? Inquiring minds want to know. lol

Lisa said...

No. lol I was too sleepy. In fact, I set the alarm just in case I fell asleep.

Hulda, that's for sure. :)

My turn to ask a question...What is a needle-roll? Is the stitch-along an on line thing or local buddies?
Inquiring minds! :)

hehe inquiring minds. Great inquiring minds inquire alike. :)

A needleroll is usually a sampler that has been stitched and then rolled and sewn..like a tootsie pop wrapper, tied with ribbons at each end. A Kiwi Stitching's Katrina is addicted to needlerolls and a bunch of us were admiring her collection (she had pictures on her blog) and so she started a stitchalong (SAL) and anyone who wants to join can work on their needleroll the 2nd weekend of the month. I didn't get myself together this month but I finished one last month and there's a picture someone on groggyfroggy of it. I didn't know what they were a few months ago either. :) I think people used to use them like a pincushion. Now they're pretty much decorative.
