Mmmmmm....

Can you smell it, Mrs. B? :>)

I cleaned the fan blades with Murphy's Oil Soap this morning. I also cleaned the baseboards, floor and a few other odds and ends with it. I cleaned the other parts of the blades and the glass globes with orange 409. It smells sooooo good in our bedroom now. Today is my bedroom detailing day so I removed, washed, dried and then put back the bedsheets and made the bed. I swapped out the heavy comforter for the lighter blanket. That may be a bit soon as I am actually wearing a turtleneck today but I did it in good faith. I flipped the mattress. I vacuumed and cleaned the blinds. I vacuumed the floor...all the while trying to protect my ankles from little Miss Reagan who thinks that my cleaning the bedroom is the funnest thing of all!

I still have plenty to do in there but I am done detailing that room for today. I think I'll go try another little pincushion.

I have never smelt Murphy's Oil Soap. But I do love those natural cleaning formulas. I love cleaning my bedroom furniture with this beeswax cream stuff I've got.

D'you know I have really struggled with blogger sites today I must have tried to load yours and a few others many times. Anyway, got there in the end! :oD~yipee!

Mrs. Blythe,

I couldn't get onto any sites or they were very slow, this morning too! I was wondering if I was the only one! It figures, I'm trying to spend less time on the computer and blogger ends up causing me to spend more time! (o;

Oh and Mrs. Blythe, you simply MUST smell Murphy's Oil soap! I love it so MUCH that I did an entire post about it and declared I loved the smell so much that I'd wear it as perfume if they bottled it!....much to the amusement of my fellow blog-friends! (o;

Your fan looks GREAT Lisa! And YES I CAN smell the Murphy's....and it's so nice to be thought of! {{{Hugs for Lisa!}}}

Thanks for explaining to me about the coffee in the jar! LOL I went back and reread your post and maybe I read it too fast because you explained it perfectly. Oh well, I guess my mind is starting to go! (o:

Mrs. Blythe, I just read something the other day about relaxing at the end of the day and smelling the wax from the day's cleaning. Perhaps that's what they meant. :) Murphy's always reminds me of my best friend from my teen years. She was married 5 days when her dear sweetheart and new husband (and my friend) was killed. Some time later she moved into a new/old home and we washed the walls down with Murphys. It reminds me of being 19 and dreaming of a home of my own, supporting a friend and mourning another.

I think Blogger was updating or something this morning. I couldn't get on to any blogger sites either.

Mrs. B. :)You just tickle me! {{{{Hugs right back}}}}}

Lisa, we turned the heat back on! I have been so cold the last few days. All this about Murphy's and I think I will have to try it.

Lisa, I use Murphy's on my cabinets when they need a little sprucing up...works great!

I'm amazed at how much you got done! Your bedroom must be sparkling! I worked outside ALL DAY...and believe me, as chilly as it was when I went out, it started to warm up with mulching and shoveling!!

Cindi, I was tempted to turn the heat back on. I got out the little electric one to take the chill off. I've been cold, too. brrrrr

Deb, so it's cold up there, too, huh? I bet it did warm up with working. I didn't try that. lol I thought it was raining but I guess it was just dreary. I saw someone mowing late this afternoon. I didn't get to all areas of my room but I am enjoying those I did get to. :)

LOL Lisa, could you have read it on my blog? I posted a quote on my post from Sunday that said that exact thing?

Oh wow, I bet the Murphy's must be a precious smell for you after that kind of experience with your friend.....

Mrs. B. Hmmmm....I bet that's just where I read it. LOL

Lisa and Mrs B. Ok I am convinced that life is not worth living without Murphy's Oil Soap! :) So, I shall try to find where I can get some here in wee England.

It's funny how fragrances and smells can evoke memories sometimes from years ago. Blessings to you both :o)x
