I found a curtain in the closet. It's the other half of the one I used to trim my apron. It wasn't long enough for the window so I cut the hem off an old sheet. I sewed the raw cut edge of the sheet to the hem of the curtain, so that the hem part of the sheet was at the top; then I just slipped the rod through the hem of the sheet.
Fabric close up.
Curtains hanging.
Sheets I found in a box today. Yay! These will make some nice pillows and maybe a small quilt or something. I packed them away when I decided that two sets of sheets was enough and I needed more space in the closet. I was so glad to find them again.

Congratulations on your curtains! You did a lovely job. The two fabrics together look really nice and you'd never know it was once part of a sheet. :)
Thanks!
your curtains looks lovely! And I liked the idè! The sheets you find in the box will be great pillows, I can imagine it. And a quilt with these fabric would be lovely! Such nice pattern. :)
I forgot - I really like the drawing of the little rake. :) SWEET!
Thank you Hulda. :) I love playing with the free graphics.
Tim liked the curtains when he got home from work this morning.
I washed the shower curtain liner and my new shower curtain and hung them last night. I hadn't noticed when I bought the curtain that the stitching on it is of sea shells (it's white stitching on white fabric). I have a sea shell framed mirror that I bought in a shabby chic shop here about 5 years ago and it has just been hanging in my laundry room so I put that in the bathroom. It looks nice. I also have a seashell wreath I made years and years ago. I think I"ll hang that in there, too. But I have to wait until Tim is not sleeping because I need to pound a nail in. :)
The curtains look great and I love the material, you could make some really nice stuff with those sheets. :o)
Bethany, I know. I'm having a hard time making myself cut them up!
