A Little Update with Pictures

Quan Yin is here to welcome you in.

This is what my work space looked like yesterday. It's a wicker dressing table (that I got when I was 13) and I covered it with a brown silk curtain panel.

This is Patrick's work space. My grandmother's sewing machine desk.

This is my workspace as of a couple of hours ago. I just happened to see a yard sale going on next door this morning and she had this table, which is exactly what I've been looking for. It was only $25.00! She also had two Thomasville end table for $5.00 a piece. They are ours now. :) I need to do something about those wires but gracious, I still have tons of stuff to find a place for. Oh I bought that lamp, too. The brass has to go. I'll paint it later.

Well, Judie, I hope this was enough for now. hehe The rest of the place is still a bit of a mess.

We've been having a time with our ex-landlords but we are completely moved out now, the place is cleaner than when I moved into it and we are now enjoying our new space. I got to mow yesterday and I transplanted my sage, which made me very happy.

Life is very, very good.

What great finds - seems like perfect timing with you just moving in. Hope you find peace with the landlord situation. Congrats on your happy new home!

Sarah, it is! I just love them. I loved them before I knew they were Thomasville but when the door slid open and I saw the name, I knew I was getting a great deal.

lol Judie. Good! ♥

Carrie, it really is. It's like she was just out there for me. I'm pretty sure that all she sold were the things I bought. She was only out there for an hour or so.

Thanks Tinker! I think peace has found us. :)

I guess I've missed a few posts. I didn't know you had moved! Good for you. I could tell you weren't happy with your landlord in the other place. Maybe this one will be better.

I seem to have developed tendonitis or some kind of over use injury in my left wrist and hand...making typing painful for me...so I might not be blogging as much for a while... this includes commenting on your amazingly inspiring blog-and this is soooooo hard for me. (this is kind of a form message I've typed and am copying and pasting at all my customary blog hangouts. But I can still read your posts- I will be present to you in a quiet way-reading and viewing your words and images, and leaving a simple ☺
to let you know I have dropped by and am thinking about you.

Gentle steps,
Laura

Thanks for visiting my blog. We recently moved "back home" and I've just finished setting up my new home too. Isn't it too much fun!
