The Day after the Meeting

I definitely felt you there with me in spirit.

I can't tell you how much I appreciate your supportive words.

The meeting was an interesting mix of women and I think everyone had a good time.

They seemed to be on a mission; cutting and pasting and making a number of cards.

Watching others make cards is almost as gratifying and therapeutic as making my own.

The cards were as individual as their creators.

Things did not go completely as planned. Some things worked; others just didn't. But I was determined that however it worked out was how it was meant to be so I didn't fret the changes.

Everyone seemed happy as they left.

I couldn't ask for more than that.

That said, I'm not really feeling this is something I want to do.

It's hard to know how you'll feel about something until you actually do it and I have to tell you I didn't enjoy it.

It went fine and I'm grateful but I didn't love doing it.

It's ok, though. I'm glad to know.

It doesn't mean it was time wasted or that SoulCollage isn't altogether for me.

All the little things add up.

All the moments count.

Sometimes something new is a pleasant surprise and sometimes it's ...nah...not for me. It's all good.

It's good that you tried it and if it isn't what you want to do, now you know that and you can move on to something else. The important thing is, you tried it! So many times people think about doing something but never do it. Good for you!!

It sounds as though you had a worthwhile experience. I've been considering the SoulCollage facilitator training and I think it is interesting that I'm hesitating. For me I think I'm still at the point of enjoying the process of making the cards for myself and I don't think I really want to take on the role of organizing get-togethers. Did you find that you didn't love the facilitator part or is it that you are not into SoulCollage? I'm curious to hear another person's perspective.

Kudos to you for trying! Seems like you were well prepared. Sometimes, things just aren't meant to be though.

A learning experience ... it's all good!

I am glad that I am not the only one feeling the way that you are!

It is great you tried. Sometimes the idea of something is better than the reality. Now it's on to next adventure, something else creative that just flows with you more.

Yeah Lisa. Like Shell said, on to the next adventure now. There are bigger and better things in the pond for this little froggy. I scrolled to see all your pics. Wonderful! I love seeing how your world has come together in the last year. xoxoxo

What a great idea to document the preparation for your workshop! It sounds like it went really well and that you're happy about it, that is a beautiful thing.

I really hope you find that home that has all that creative space for you to inspire others and create masterpieces! It's wonderful to hear from you again.

That's the one thing we all forget but need to remember..."all the moments count"!

I watched the video and the space looked so beautiful, Lisa. I bet the ladies really did enjoy it. But if you didn't - well, at least now you know! So many of us (like me!) just sit, wondering and dreaming - but you really gave it a try! Kudos to you! Now on to the next adventure as someone else said here - hope it's something you really truly Love! xox

Thank you everyone. Wow. It is so great to have such support with no judgment or anything. Patrick pretty much said the same thing, though he did remind me that I might like to do it one on one still. mmm Maybe. Doubtful. lol Love you guys. Thank you!
