I've been dumped.

By blogger. I can post from flickr but the blogger dashboard is gone and my profile seems to be gone. I tried to switch several times but it would never let me. I hope it doesn't lose all my stuff. I have some of it saved on Xanga because it has things I want to remember about the kids. I wish there was a way to copy your whole blog on cd or something.

I basically sent this picture as a vehicle to blog from flickr, but as long as it's here I will point out that this is my dining room at the moment. The plaid cloth is one that Tim gave me for Christmas. It is different from my norm and it makes me feel so cozy everytime I look at it. He loves it a lot so we're both happy to see it here. I bought that little plate in the center for a buck this week. It's a cheap plasticy charger but it looks like pewter. I really like it.

I also wanted to mention (but there was no way to edit my post) that if you are going to use that coffee/vanilla thing to age your pieces, it helps if it's hot. I keep mine in a jelly jar and when I want to use it, I remove the lid and microwave it right in the jar for 30 seconds. It doesn't work well cold.

hmmm I guess that's all I wanted to say. I feel so much pressure now that I can't edit. What you see is what you get.

Happy weekend.

Editing (yes editing!!) to add: After a little reading through Blogger's update info, I figured out my problem. I had to sign out of my Google Account to sign in to my old blogger account. Whew. I'm relieved.

How frightening a thought to lose one's blog contents! I download mine onto a CD!
I use typepad, so I do not know about Blogger, except it has had may hiccups while changing to Beta.

ps Glad you have worked it out!!

Great! Glad to know that you are back with Blogger. I think they "think" they are making it better when they aren't.

BTW, love the tablecloth and the diningroom...beautiful.

Great photo - glad your blogger is safe!

I had so many probs I started a new one on my own website - as it is a shame if all goes pear shaped

Hi Lisa

Blogger and I were not communicating well today either. It seems there are some things for me to learn.

The table cloth looks fantastic! And your hearts on the previous post are gorgeous too!

I'm so glad you figured it out - I would miss you if you left!
I'm getting caught up on everyone's blogs, and I just saw your cool prim art - I'm happy you're getting a chance to make your art again. Btw, the tablecloth with your pewter plate does look very cozy.

I copy each days musings of mine onto a notepad, because I have lost data online in the past and my bloggie blog is important to me..
If you go to view after a few day, just copy paste the post and comments into your compie..and you can make a CD from there.. :) cause what you have to say is important!!!
Peace n hugs, Kai.
