TGIF

I haven't done a lot of art lately.

There's lots of work to do which is great. It means our business is growing and successful.

Plus, it's been so cold and the kitchen is my studio. It is basically an enclosed porch with no insulation beneath the floor so, oh my gosh, it is so cold in there.

I fully intend to try to do some collage or something this weekend.

I attended a meeting for Earth Day Roanoke 2010 last night. I'm helping with the creativity stuff. Yay! We're planning to have some community collage projects and some other things. So exciting!

Since I don't have anything recent to show you, I thought I'd share this quilt block with you.

I made this a few years ago. The Glitter Sisters made a quilt as a surprise gift for Violette Clark, for her birthday. The picture at the top is my quilt block.

Below are pictures of the finished quilt on Violette's bed.

Gemma collected the squares, put the whole thing together and sent it to Violette's family to present it to her on her birthday.
