Merry Christmas, Happy Yule...Joyful Weekend!

We had such a beautiful day that, well, I forgot to take pictures. But I wanted to come on and wish everyone a wonderful holiday weekend.

I made more sweet and savory snacks than usual and Patrick and I cooked together. The food is pretty much all gone. The boys gave us beautifully thoughtful gifts. We gave money to the boys, as requested and I managed to get some little tiny stockings from the Dollar Tree and embroider their initials on them. (while watching a favorite movie...bliss) I put the money in them and placed them on the tree. Next year I want to do more but this year it was enough and they seem happy.

We enjoyed visiting and laughing together.

Earlier in the day, Patrick and I watched some silly and sappy Christmas movies together. That is one of my favorite things. :)

And now the day is winding down. I'm thrilled that it's still the weekend. The holiday pressure is off and I have time for crafting whatever I want. A new year lies before us, new and full of possibilities.

Life is good.

Lisa,

I am gld to hear you had such a wonderful day. Ours was pleasant too. Good food, having my daughter home was the best. We went and fed the ducks on the river and they were very appreciative. Spent the afternoon getting our new wireless printer set up. Now we are watching the Librarian. A good day...
