A few weeks ago, I discovered a wonderful knitting blog called the Student Knitter. I was blog-hopping, just randomly going from blog list to blog list, and here was this lovely person who goes to College right in my town.I told her that and we made plans to get together. We met at Books-a-Million for coffee and some knitting and crocheting. We had so much to talk about and had such a good time. After we'd spent some time at the bookstore, she drove us both over to Michael's. We both had 50% off coupons that we printed out just for this get-together. lol You'll have to run over to her blog to see what she got (it's yummy). I just picked up some white cotton for making some new dishclothes. Hey, it was .98 cents and I needed it! I know...big spender, right?
It's really fun to meet people in person when you've come to know them online. The Student Knitter is exactly as fun and sweet in person as she is on her blog. I can't wait to get together with her again.

Don't you LOVE meeting blogging friends? Sounds like you had a wonderful time! I am meeting a blogging friend either this weekend or after vacation next week. She rides horses..so we will probably start riding together! Yay!!
