What I Was Doing Before the Workday Began

Crocheting a cushion.

The cat is driving me crazy. He wakes us up all hours of the night wanting to nurse. Yes, you read that right. He roots around on exposed neck, shoulders, hands and no matter how many times we put him down, he comes right back very insistently. I can only think that his mother was taken away from him too early, though he was plenty old enough, it seemed, when we got him last week. He didn't start this until a few days after we had him. He eats his food fine but at night he does this thing. We may buy him a bottle to see if it soothes him and lets us get some sleep.

At least I'm getting to crochet. But. I. Need. Some. Sleep.

I hope you can get some sleep! Maybe a 2nd kitty would help :)
My cat used to like to snuggle too, it was the purring that seemed RUMBLE sometimes! ha
Pretty crotchet work too!

Awww Don't you wish they made pacifiers for animals. This time of year I always want to crochet or do needle work for some reason. Just thought of it this morning.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a lovely comment.
Loved reading your post about your cat. Sounds like your pet loves you so much. My mum use to place a hot water bottle rapped in a tea towel for our dogs when puppies to sooth them. I wonder if this will help your Kitty be soothed while you get your much needed you time?
Bless you all so much!

Been enjoying your blog for along time now. Just wonderinghow you did that crocheting? You did great on it. I crochet but not that well. That looks like something I'd like to try...
