A Little Bit of Art

I've been doing some painting. I was so inspired by the video I showed you last week that I was really wanting to see if I could just let myself go without judgment and paint. You know, after a while it came easier. I'm not wild about this painting but that's ok. I do like the colors and some of the shapes that showed up. Who knows, I may just cover it up and try something else. I'll decide later.

After I did that painting, I was still itching to play so I covered up an old canvas that I never really liked. I threw on paint and scratched it up with wire and finally ended up with a background that I liked so much I was afraid of messing it up. A few years ago, my younger son Mike, gave me this really great blown-glass rooster and I have it sitting on the kitchen counter. For some reason I felt compelled to paint it and I have to say, I absolutely love it. I have been considering collaging the word Strut on it.

Other than that, I have been busy with work and Healing Through Creativity and weeding and playing in the dirt and walking through our beloved village. We've been looking at apartments, totally planning to move, but last night we decided to stay here another year. We are finally getting ahead (or at least catching up) financially so it makes sense to keep our basic expenses the same as they are now. Plus, I would miss our little hippy apartment and our neighbors and our little backyard with the sweet garden space I made last year and the nice place for grilling. We're both really happy and relieved with our decision to stay.

That's about it for me today. I'm waiting on some last minute offers from merchants so I can send the weekly out today and then I can get ahead on some other RSV work and maybe go for a walk. Hmmm, maybe I'll go for the walk first.

Have a wonderful week everyone. Oh, and if you want to just feel good, go to goddessguidebook.com. It's Goddess Leonie's site. The button that says " I see a Goddess in you" will take you there. She uses words like gorgeous, delicious and scrummy. She makes me laugh and she makes me think. I know she's been around a while but I've just recently fallen in love with her. So, if you're slow like me, go see her.

Both of these painting are amazing!
I love them both just the way they are!

I thought to myself before I read about the second painting that it look like two birds in the
painting. They both look like blown glass too.

The other looks like it has the
letter e and the letter o in it.

Don't touch them! They are perfect just the way they are! You can't touch them! I said so! lol!

What's this healing through creativity?

God Bless You and Yours!!!

The painting is exciting, but I like the wire hanger. I'm into wire too! I think "strut" is perfect too. Like your blended colors.
