Happy New Year

Comfort Doll in progress. I may have to start over. I'm not sure about this one.
I was in a pink mood. Rare these days.

Journal pages.
Mural on my favorite used book store. It's a couple of blocks from where I live.
Patrick working on our New Year's Eve dinner.
New Year's Eve journaling.
Colorful Shingle sign. I still want to write something on it.
Small canvas. Background is water-soluble oil pastels. I sprayed the whole thing with acrylic sealer so the background wouldn't rub off or run. She has a scrapbook paper dress and acrylic paint face.

And drumrollllllll...................
A crew of Patrick's assemblages. Feedback on the assemblages would be appreciated. We're planning to do some festivals and stuff this year with my dolls and his assemblages. It would be good to know how they might be accepted since they're pretty different from anything I've seen.

Have a wonderful New Year everyone.

Interesting assemblages. I think they would attract someone who is into country decorating or something like that. Can they hang on the wall? Altho they are wonderfuly artsy as they are, what if...they had pegs on the bottom to hold keys, or sweaters...something to make them more functional. That way they would attract more than just the decorator's eye. ??? Hmmm, I am picturing one with a rooster on it. Well, just a thought. :)

You've been busy.

Love the art you two
created.
Really like the one with
the fruit band around his
head that Patrick created.

I also like the one you painted.

Love the other pieces also!!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Did you scroll down and see my unfinished self portrait and the unfinished self-portrait stencil I am making? I bought a wood burning tool today for 40%off and it also will help make stencils and other things. I won't have to use a utility knife anymore.

I put a shadow photo of my dd and I in my New Year Eve post. I added the color changes at the store. It was a BD card that I made. I think I added a few more words since you came by. I kept changing them. I was so tired last night. People are not suppose to let off fireworks anymore around here but they did. Not as much as they did last year though.

Have a Very Blessed Happy New Year to You and Yours!!!
