I love my life!

Here's some random art I've been working on.

I'll have to take a better pic of the doll before I list it but I thought I'd go ahead and throw it on here in the interest of sharing what I've been up to.

My muse has become a bit of a taskmaster lately. And I'm enjoying every minute of it.

These are some faces I'm playing with for future dolls and fabric collages.

These are a couple of pages from an art journal. I got it at Dollar Tree for a buck quite some time ago. I hadn't really done much in it, but every time I had paint left over, I'd throw it on this book's mulberry paper (yum) pages. Using paint that way is a trick I learned from Lia over at Art Junk Studio. Yesterday I got all excited about working on it as an art journal, so these are three of the pages.

This is the cover of a book I'm going to alter. It's been sitting around forever with a pink cover that I did and didn't like, so I repainted it last night. I painted over the tissue and tags I had put on it and I love the textured effect.

Love the woman paintings. I especially like folk-artsy portraits. To me they seem to have so much character.

Looks like you've been having lots of creative fun! One beautiful thing about journaling and collage work is there isn't a right or wrong way to do it, it's done and right when you feel it.
