Week Wrap-up

Lots of pictures. I couldn't help myself taking pics of the ribs last weekend. I also couldn't help getting a pic of my beautiful son, Michael. He was ready and waiting for ribs.

The breakfast table was from this morning. Patrick woke me with coffee in bed. After lingering there a bit with my coffee, I followed the tempting aroma of bacon down the stairs. He was preparing this beautiful breakfast. Before eating, we gave thanks for the abundance of our lives and then dug in.

Then we listened to Mozart, as has become our Sunday morning custom.

Now he is watching a game and I have been playing with paints, paper and glue. :)

I sketched the face with pencil and filled in with words. Then I went over the words with pen; all ideas I got from Violette.

I painted in over the words and then began gluing images all around. I don't know if it's finished yet but I am liking it.

Mostly, I just enjoyed getting mod podge and paint all over me. :)

I finished my visualization writing. I did it during my lunch break the same day I blogged about it.

Here it is:

My days are filled with creativity and contentment.

I wake in the morning with my beloved Patrick. After lingering for a bit, we head to our beautiful kitchen and brew coffee.

We take the coffee and a light breakfast out on the patio and enjoy a leisurely meal together. We talk about the plans we have for the day, whether we'll be editing together or pursuing other creative activities individually.

The boys love spending time making music in the room we have set aside for instruments and equipment. Patrick loves it, too, stopping throughout the day to practice his drums and dulcimer.

I love keeping my blog up to date and commenting on the blogs of my friends.

I create dolls that offer emotional healing qualities, if only because they are gifts of love.

I spend satisfying hours writing about visualization in an effort to help others find the life of their dreams.

Money comes to us frequently and effortlessly as we seek to express the Divine in the world through our creative efforts.

We spend our days doing what we love surrounded by beauty, with no worries about bills or money.

We go out when we want, without hesitation.
We stay in when we want, without hesitation.

We love God and spend our days in the deep peace and joy of being expressions of a loving Presence.

Patrick and I will be reading this every day and feeling the feelings of already having this life. (Much of it we do already have to some degree.)

How do you see your life? I recommend this exercise. Sometimes we don't really know what we want until we try to put it on paper.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. I am enjoying my day off more than I can say.

Much love to you all.

Lisa you sound so much more wonderfully happy than you did when I first started visiting your blog when your stress in your prior situation really showed in many of your posts. I am sooooo very happy for you.

Um, I wish money would come to ME frequently and effortlessly...

Beautiful post, Lisa. It reminds me that we must be willing to do the work of visualization if we want to attract something different in our life. We can't just accept "what happens" and fill our minds with worry and anxiety or even hope; we have to be willing to do the work. (I'm mainly talking to myself here.)

I'll be looking forward to reading about visualization on your blog!

Yummy Ribs, Handsome Son,
What is the pic just below
your son Michael? Love it!
Love the ModPodgePaintCollage!
Love Table Setting! I am here
in the Big City. No Phone, not alone, Cats are with me that I
am taking care of. I go for a
walk's almost everyday. Picked
some different wild weed flowers
and put in a homemade waterbottle
vase I made and put them on the patio. I created a still life of them with watercolor pencils & blended them with water.
I play & pet the cats, watched some old movies. Listen to the kids play outside. Today I went to the wrong townhouse and put the key in the door. Oh, brother. But no one came to see what was going on. LOL! I thought I need to be paying attention. I was going by what I seen behind the building and not what was at the front door. Embaressed for sure.LOL! I also walked to a Church down the street today. The pastor came from a town where one of my brother's lived for about 25yrs. His wife was away to a Wedding I think in CA. A lady they knew who is 70yrs old was getting married for the first time to a man who was 90 but looked like he was 70. He is a Senior Pastor. Awesome I'd say! Have a Blessed Week!
