1st Mandala

I was reading Michael Beckwith's 40 Day Mind Fast, Soul Feast and was inspired to finally create a mandala.

My friend, Cheryl, creates beautiful mandalas and inspired me to try my hand at it. I've had a strong attraction to them since walking the Labyrinth a while back.

This mandala represents a search for wholeness. The bright yellow center is the Source of all that is and it radiates out, touching the separate parts, drawing them to one another and finally fully encompassing the "whole."

The heart is blooming on a tender green plant. Yet, the roots are substantial and deep.

We are always being guided. We have only to pay attention and receive the guidance.

The Creator is abundant in giving. We must learn to receive. Only then will we have anything to give to others.

Listening to my guidance is my biggest problem! My guidance needs to tell me to shush once in awhile.
I don't know it all like I think I do!
Great mandala, I love it. Sun/yellow center is great...yellow also represents childhood.

With the news of Daisy's passing, this loss, this sadness that permeates our hearts drives home that we must never hesitate to say how we feel. We must always tell those we love and cherish how special they are, how wonderful they are, how much they enrich our lives. I am here to tell you just that....you matter to me, I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart.
Love and light.
Lisa
