I made this little guy this morning. I sewed his body together by hand last night. I didn't feel like fooling with the machine. It felt really good to hand sew him. I made the face last night and let it dry overnight, then used a pen and some copper powder paint on it this morning. I had fun beading him and I just love the fabric. (Thanks LisaOceandreamer!) I've put a little pin on the back. Right now it's just on with its own adhesive but I plan to sew it on later.
I am enjoying life so much. That sounds weird doesn't it? But it's true. I feel like there is a flow to life and I am in it. My days saunter along and I look back as I head into bed amazed that things got done yet I never felt pushed for time. I just let the day take me. I fall into bed tired and satisfied; ready for sleep. I wake up refreshed and happy and thank God for my life and for the life to come.
