Irony

She missed him
Originally uploaded by GroggyFroggy.
Let me tell you. There is irony in life. I have complained about never having a minute to myself and now I am like a lovesick teenager. This is Day 2 and it's getting better but yesterday I was pathetic. I think the cat was worried about me. I don't think she'd ever seen me cry and she actually meowed at me, which is very rare for her. She looked and looked for him for a while but has now settled down.

To be with someone 24 hours a day for so long and then suddenly not even know what state he's in is just taking some adjustment. I'll feel better when he calls.

Ok...onward and upward. Don't worry. I am not going to moan and complain the entire 3 months he's gone. I promise.

This is watercolor I've been playing around with this morning. I usually take a book to sketch in at night when I'm going to bed. Sketching makes me good and sleepy and it's good practice. This girl showed up in my book so today I drew her bigger on a piece of watercolor and painted her in. I'm rather fond of her.

Thanks for all the shoulders and hugs (and laughs). They were more appreciated than I can say.

Julie, I have some painted switch covers I'm using but I haven't started using these yet. I will, though!

Robyn, I think a private swap would be fun! I am worrying and fretting already. :P

She missed him indeed. I think your watercolor girl is lovely, esoecially her eyes. Cats, all pets really, understand our emotions...

I love the art, it's so expressive. Time will fly like spring winds and 3 months is only a blink.
Cats are in tune to their owners and yours will share your time.. :)
Peace, Kai.

What an expressive watercolor! You know I think I need my glasses when I work on the laptop, cause I thought it said 'She MARRIED him,' until I saw Judie's comment, lol - 'she missed him' does make so much more sense, lol!

How beautiful this is....the painting shows such expression and I love her eyes.
Cats just seem to sense things. Mine always know when I'm worrying or having a bad day and they give me extra loveies....however it's spelled!!

She looks wistful and you can see exactly how you were feeling. That's the beauty of art, you can work from within, she's beautiful. I emailed you!
XOXO
Love,
Lisa

Your watercolour is absolutely gorgeous. You're getting better and better. I love the way you did the hair, the large eyes, the way her eyes are striving for something (someone) that isn't there, everything. You are getting more and more talented, my friend.

I'll be thinking of you and sending some smiles to lift up your heart everytime I pray and sing, OK?
