Mermaid-ish Doll

Mermaid-ish Doll

The hours flew by. Maybe on the next sunny day, I'll take her out and get a better pic so you can see her little seed bead eyes and the other beading. I am hooked on making dolls now. Fun and relaxing and totally satisfying.Mermaid-ish DollMermaid-ish doll

Judie, thank you! It's chunky yarn. It worked better than I expected. :)

She is so sweet - do I see one of those hair scrunchies that you bought for dolls?

Beautiful, Lisa! I love mermaids. Did you make her face from fabric or Sculpey? Either way she looks lovely! Glad you're having fun!

Me Yes! I was trying to figure out where to start on her clothes and was so excited when I remembered I had the scrunchies.

Terri Thanks. :) I made her face with paper clay and a mold.

Kai LOL

Isabelle, thanks so much. Hugs back to you. How's that sweet Robin? Oh...and Violette? We can't let her get jealous thinking she's no longer the baby.

Thanks Joyceann!

Pam yay. I wanna see your dolls. In person, I just love her but she's a little floppy because of the way I wired her shoulds to her neck and body.lol I need to work on that.

Gemma I saw your dolls. Incredible.

Darcy, thanks. :)

Sarah. :) She is mostly made of batting (batten?) cotton stuff for quilts, wrapped around wire. She may be the only mermaid that shouldn't get wet. She'd sink like a stone.
