Seasons of Friendship Doll

Seasons of Friendship Doll
Originally uploaded by GroggyFroggy.
I made this doll last night. I've been wanting to try my hand at these dolls. Last night I kept sitting down to collage my overwhelming feelings left over from the retreat. I couldn't seem to get it in to a collage. It felt flat. Then I thought of the dolls. So I grabbed a piece of muslin, printed out Violette's instructions and made myself a little pattern..and here she is. I just love her.

She`s so pretty. I love the colours & the pattern.
By the way, thank you for the link to Violette`s website! I love looking at all the colours and picture, reading & just feeling inspired and happy by it. It`s funny how a website can make us feel happy inside, it feels like I`m smiling from inside.

Love her! I had so much fun making those spirit dolls. It is great to see other's interpretations! I have a few that I can't part with! They were supposed to be gifts! Hadda laugh at your kitty..very familiar!

Elisabeth, I'm so glad you love her site as much as I do.

Thanks Isabelle (((hugs))) right back to you!

Pam, she was fun and, um, she was supposed to be a gift. LOL Actually, i'm keeping her because i didn't feel that she was sewn well enough....but probably that's just an excuse. ;)

Ninnie, she is isn't she? lol Thank you!

this flat feeling is called anti climax. When I get like this I do a chakra balance with the crystals (I have your set right now and all I have to do is program them & write some instructions and they will be on their way!)
love your doll, she is perfect!

Robyn, you are so sweet. Thank you. I do want to say that I didn't mean I felt flat. I was rather euphoric. lol It just seemed that my excitement was too overwhelming to get into a collage. Somehow the doll had a little more meat to it for me ...if that makes sense. :)
