Emily's purse

This is the purse that Em made. Isn't it great? She just decided to do it and started cutting. I'd still be thinking about it! Everything was so straight from the second she cut it...then she didn't want to stop so she put all these great beads on it. We both just love it. Don't you?

Wow, she did do a great job, and everything is straight. I think the beads added a nice touch. Tell Emily it came out really nice.

Emma, thanks. It's been a fun summer for crafting.

Hulda, thank you. She is very creative and artistic. I have lots of pictures she drew and painted for us when she was a little younger.

Amy, I think that would be the ultimate mother-daughter thing. :) I was surprised that Emily learned much of her sewing skills in home ec at school. At least they're still doing that! All I really did was show her how to thread this machine.

Shereen, I really liked the beads too. She would come in and say that she thought she had put on enough, "but I don't want to stopppp" lol I told her she could do something else when the purse was done. :)

Thanks Mrs. B. :)

Laura, LOL Glad you stopped by. Come on back now. :)

Thanks Meow. That's a good way to describe that fabric...cheery.

Thanks Kristi!

Thanks Plainandsimple!

I will pass all your comments on to Em or show them to her. It's always so nice to share things with people who appreciate it and get just as excited as you are. :) Thanks everyone!

Cindi, she enjoyed that comment.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments about the purse. When I told her she had comments, she couldn't wait to read them. :)

Hulda, yes i did receive your email. I'm sorry I didn't let you know. I got some more things I had to edit and it's just been chaotic. I haven't been online as much as usual. I did enjoy your email and I'll write back when things calm down a bit.

I'll get back to answering comments one at a time too rather than a blanket thank you but, alas, not tonight. :) So, thank you everyone for your wonderful and kind comments. Each one means very much to me.
