Mom's Goodies

Mom's goodies

These are the gifts I'm ready to send Mom for her birthday. You've already seen the jug/jar cover and there's a lavender sachet with a little touch of lace.

I tried to make her a card and I loved the concept of the card I made but I tried to use mod podge and that didn't turn out so well, so I decided to go with simplicity and just send it plain on a pretty piece of cardstock. The raised design on it is textured..soft n fuzzy.

I wrapped them each in tissue, then tied a ribbon around it all. I hope it brings a birthday smile to her. :)

Have a good day everyone.

What a charming little collection of gifts, Lisa! I am sure your Mum will love them :) Thanks for coming by and leaving me a message. I was touched that you thought of me. Just keep swimming was a very appropriate comment! I am still around, but have been a bit tired this past week, so wasn't really commenting. I am hoping to come up with my own blog post later today (it's only 7:20 am here).

I am sure your Mom are going to be very glad for this birthday present. My sister has birthday soon, 20th of July. I have planed to sew her a pillow, if I have time for it now. I should write you mail soon, I have been so much outside, and there has not been time for so much e-mails lately, I am sorry!

I'm sure your Mum will be blessed to receive such thoughtful handmade gifts. My poor Mum usually receives bithday gifts made by some poor peasant in China or Taiwan!(...mmmm...not good now I come to think of it that way).

These are really beautiful gifts Lisa. I'm sure your mum will be over the moon. Very pretty fabric by the way.

Cindi, thanks!

Emma, I'll look forward to your post. I know those "just keep swimming" days. I had a feeling. :)

Hulda, I bet she'll love one of your pillows! Is she crafty like you? I always enjoy your emails but I know that when you're outside, you're happy. :)

Kelleigh, that cracked me up. I hadn't quite thought of it that way. lol

Plain and simple, thank you!

Now I'm going to make some coffee..I got up and came straight to the computer this morning. It's a sickness, I'm sure. hehe

What? No GroggyFroggy today? I told you I get withdrawal symptoms. Lol.

I bet you've been visiting all the new sites listed by the BOB Awards? Well I have too, ;o)

Too many blogs, too many blogs...brain overload.

Actually, I've been busy making things for my new etsy shop. woot! I was going to put up a pic this morning but have realized that Nick got our camera cables confused and has taken mine to his father's house last night, so I'll get it when I pick him up later today. I bet he was surprised when he wanted to load pics on his dad's computer. lol

I still need to look at those blogs. I keep forgetting.

Karen, thank you and thanks for reminding me I need to get those in the mail today! I would surely have forgotten.
