The nerve....

It's taking lots of nerve for me to post this pic. LOL I should have cropped the head. I took this pic for two reasons. Number 1, I wanted in on the week of dresses fun, so this is day 1 for me (even though it's really day 3...day 1 of pics). Number 2, the MIH message board folks are doing a weight decluttering and this is my "before" pic. :) Hubby took these outside as I couldn't find a place inside that was bright enough and we don't have a flash. I assure you that I am much more beautiful and glamourous in real life. ;)

Oh and the white thing is an apron. lol

Hello Lisa. It's so good to see you. I hope my hubby will agree soon for me to do some 'head shots' tee-hee makes me sound like a model ;o)You look just lovely.

You look just lovely, you just needed to smile! LOL I don't think I'll ever be able to post any pictures of myself...my husband just isn't comfortable with us having our picture on the web.

It's nice to see you though! (o:

Lisa It's me again. Just wanted to say thanks for your comments on my blog on the child discipline issue. I am deleting the posts now (but I have saved yours and Mrs B's comments) as I feel a great calm about it all now. Your advice gave me a lot of peace and I knew I just needed to seek God with my husband about it and leave it in God's hands. You and Mrs B are such ducks (as we say here in England - it's a compliment :o)!)

You ladies are so sweet. Thank you. To tell you the truth, I am quite surprised that my hubby doesn't mind me putting my pics up and he even volunteered to have his shiny little head on with that pillow in my photobucket thing at the bottom. hehe I kept saying today, "I know it's silly." He assured me that he doesn't think it's silly. LOL I think he's fibbing but that's ok. ;)

Mrs. B..I thought the same thing about smiling. I always dislike my pics either way, though.

Sarah, I'm so glad you found peace with it...and I love being called a duck. :)

Hi Lisa! I love denium too! Can't wait to see more of your skirts. This is so much fun I might join in too!

Hi Lisa, I had seen your picture before...seems like I remember you posting a pic of you in a denim dress in your driveway...maybe after you had mowed the grass?
Anyway, THIS picture doesn't look like the Lisa picture in the driveway. I think your hair was down, and I don't think you had your glasses on. Maybe that's what is making me all confused!

Anyway, I love your picture. Thanks for sharing it :)

Kelleigh, Oh yes, do join in! I love seeing all the ladies in dresses.

Deb Yes, it's my alter ego. LOL I put up one when I was getting ready to go somewhere and then one when I had a denim dress on. My hair was down in both and I wasn't wearing glasses.

I decided I wanted to do the week of dresses thing and this is just how I happened to look when I decided. LOL Glasses, hair up, apron and all. :)

hehe Mrs. B. We're ducks. :)

We have a 'pet name' (ie like 'Darling' or 'Dear') over here, it's 'Ducky'. Kinda cute hey!

Lisa, you're lovely! :) You look different with glasses and your hair up, but you look just as lovely in both cases :) You look more mysterious here :) Interesting contrast!

Please, would you send a bit of your glorious sun over to Paris? We've been having a rotten Spring so far, after a dreary Winter :(

Kelleigh, I love that, "Ducky." Maybe I'll try it out on Tim. lol

Isabelle, I'm so sorry about the dreary spring. It's been raining a good bit here and as you saw, I wore a turtleneck yesterday and I wore one the day before also. I am ready for warmth! I will wish some sunshine your way. :)

hehe every time I see this picture, I am reminded of the American Gothic photo and the old joke..."I AM smiling."
