Thanks! Sarah, that little cupboard was in the basement here when we moved into the house. Hubby never throws anything away but in a cleaning frenzy for his woodshop (in the basement) he had this in the trash pile, so I asked if I could have it! I love it. :) The drawer has little dividers in it. I suppose it's missing the other two drawers. lol but that makes me like it even more. The former owner had nuts and bolts in it. ;) I cleaned the bookshelf it's all sitting on last night with dum-dum-dummmmmm Murphy's Oil Soap. hehe I moved some things around and used some more of my goodies. I'll try to get a pic.

Hulda, I had forgotten how much I like the shabby chic look. I'm really enjoying your blog and the links on your blog. It reminded me of how I used to make little "pictures" or "still lifes" I called them. I got out of the habit.

Have a wonderful day, both of you. :)

I always refer to them as 'vignettes'. And yours is quite lovely! I, too, am a HUGE fan of the 'shabby chic' look.

Lisa, you have the most delightful sense of humor....your comments always make me chuckle! (o:

Thanks so much, Mrs. B. Vignettes is a good word for it!

All the talk about Murphy's and I went out and got some. I used it in the kitchen yesterday. You can use it on more than wood according to the bottle. My kitchen smelt wonderful. So now it goes on my list of cleaning supplies!
