I am tiring of standing 8 hours a day and asking people if they'd like to sign up for a credit card-the retail equivalent of "would you like fries with that?"
I want to make my living as a writer. I want to replace my retail income.
Think good thoughts for me and go read my article. LOL
Now I have to go shower for work.

I feel you. Some people just aren't born to work for others. I wasn't, but I got sidetracked and ambushed from youth. Now I am working to get back on the track I should have always been on, supporting myself as an artist/crafter/renovator. I am glad to know that I can spend the rest of my life working on the authentic me!
Lisa, it looks like you already have a great start, with all your previous articles to your credit. You go girl! Keep on doing what you love. Have you checked into any of your local papers....not the big daily, but the little neighborhood types to start with. They pay too! No thank you, I dont want a credit card or fries! xoxoxoxoxo
