I got the idea last night to try fabric art on these aprons I had hanging around. I'm not completely thrilled with this one but I do love the idea. I didn't do the transfer correctly but I do think I'm on to something. I have a few more aprons so I'm going to play some more tonight.

I think it looks good! And a great idea too! It is true, the trees looks like the one I had on my blog earlier this Fall.
Thanks Hulda. :)
I think it's very cute! I love the red and white fabric.
Oh, I think it's swell. And you really are onto something..... keep going!
xox
Amy, thanks. I got these at a church yard sale. They're pretty sweet. By the way, I totally stole your idea for taking the pic of the apron..except my porch post was closer than the tree. lol
Colette, thank you for all your kind comments! I feel so lucky.
you are always thinking my friend, run with it you've got something really cute started!
XOXO
Great idea Lisa! I think you are really onto something too. I love the cheery red color of the fabric. You are very versatile and can turn your hand to anything!
That's a beautiful apron you made! You're getting more and more skillful at your sewing machine :)
Oooh - I like the second one - although the idea behind the first one is worth exploring and trying again imo...
So cute!
And to think, I am selling off all my vintage apron collection on ebay right now! That is my problem....I collect and save treasures with the intent of using them one day. Then I get tired of dealing with "stuff" so I get rid of it.
And wouldn't you know, I see an idea that makes me wish I had the itmes back!
*sigh* Oh well....there will always be more, right!
Love your creations! Leep up the good work!
Jeez.....typos make life interesting, don't they?
Leep?
(insert "keep" if you want it make sense or read it as is to see how my day is generally headed...)
