Snow, Tree and Not Wiccan

Michael and Kasey catching snow flakes.

The tree is up. Michael and Kasey did the decorating.

I've had emails and even phone calls recently asking me about Wicca so I felt I should perhaps clarify here that I am not Wiccan.

As usual, I don't really have a religion to identify with. I can pretty comfortably say that I'm Pagan but that is about the extent of nailing it down for me. I'm ok with that.

It's the whole anthropomorphizing the gods thing that always does me in. I just can't make myself believe in a thinking, feeling god. I do believe in an energy. I have come to see the earth as a living being who nourishes us and whom we should nourish right back, but to attribute thoughts and emotions to her is very difficult for me. (yet I've given her a sex...hmmm)

So, I'm just me, living the simplest life I can...hoping to simplify more...hoping to be a better steward of this planet.

I believe in love and I love you guys.
