For Domestic Witch's Christmas Balls blog party.
I've had this recipe for at least 15 years. It came from a dear friend who gifted me with a tin of them one Christmas. I had to have the recipe.
Sharon's Orange Balls.
1 lb Vanilla Wafers, crushed
1 6oz frozen OJ, thawed
1/2 cup Chopped Pecans
1 box confectioner's sugar
1 stick butter
1 package orange Jello (or cheap gelatin flavoring) Just the powder. Don't make jello. :)
On Sharon's recipe card there is a line for serves. She wrote: "A Million"
Mix together all above. Chill.
Roll into balls, then in jello. (orange flavored)
Enjoy!
For Yule and Christmas, I use red or green "jello" powder.
My kids can not get enough of these. They eat them while waiting for the real food. I had to stop rolling out the entire batch at once or they would all be gone before dinner.

Wow! I'll have to try these. :)
Thanks for sharing the recipe.
Thank you so much for joining in!!!
They look fabulous :-)
I may have to give those a try Lisa. They look easy and the orange would make them so zesty. Thanks!
Mmmm... these sound easy and delicious! I'll have to give them a try. :)
I've been absent from Blogland for awhile but I picked the right time to visit. This recipe sounds great! And since we're having a party soon these will be included in the offerings. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Yum. On my list of things to try. I made rum balls the other day.
