Practical Magic Blog Party Post 2010!!!

Oh my!

When I signed up for the blog party, it seemed so far away
but here we are! It's time!

I've only known the Practical Magic movie for a short time but, like everyone else there is just something about it that keeps me coming
back to watch it again and again.

I've often longed for a sister and I find that above anything else, this movie, for me, is about sisters.

And their complete devotion to one another.

I have no sisters by blood but I have many
sisters by blog and I am grateful for each and every one of you.

I'm linking up with the big Practical Magic Blog Party found here!

Many thanks and blessings to Anna and Justina for hosting such a beautiful blog party.

I think this is my first!

Thanks for visiting my blog! I love your tribute to sisterhood because I was an only daughter (I do have a brother) and always longed for that close connection sisters have. Very fitting for this party. Angie

I like how you focused on the sister aspect of the movie. They had such a great bond. I'm fortunate to have two sisters and they are my best friends.

Great post!

Hey Lisa,

You are so right about the blog sisterhood. We are all connected. My sister died a few years ago at a very young age. I miss her dearly, but we are magically connected in spirit. I do however miss having that comraderie with the girls, so it is a magical bond that I think has been created here in blog world.

Nice post Lisa. I am glad you posted the link to the movie as well and I will watch it again and again. I also have no sisters and love the bond between the two girls.

Hope to see you sometime soon!

I so wanted to participate but life has just taken over and I missed the party but you did fantastic! I plan on watching it again to help me get in the Halloween mood. Right now I have had three Halloween foodie disasters and just want to throw in the towel. At least I had a photograph of the inn we stayed in that reminded me of the town. Beautiful post! Nicely done.

I have a sister, but she is cold, bossy, bitchy, unforgiving, and we have never been close. I haven't a friend in real life either, but like you have several through the wonder that is the internet!
