Home Shopping Network

I've been feeling so "nesty" lately. Spring and Fall always bring it out.
I've been craving GoodWill. lol So I just went "shopping" around the apartment
today and made use of some things that didn't have a home
and gave other things a new home.

I love how new everything feels when I change things around.

Something as simple as a hankie that had been hidden away in a box and a little vase with crochet hooks in it.
And some books I love taken from the shelf and put where they can make me smile.
Free light from the windows.

Had to use a flash here but wanted to show the hankie and the vase.

I love those colorful crochet hooks and the beaded scissors hanging out.

(Not so in love with the dust and cat hair...and I just dusted! Never ends, right?)

Can you see Zeke in the window? :)
Repurposed some milk glass for those little officey things I need so often.
Where I work and blog.
After I took the picture I found a really neat rectangle doily that
is now under the phone. Softened things up a bit.
All the little things that make me so deliriously happy.

I love the crochet hooks in the vase. That's a great idea! I think I need to change things up a little around here so maybe I'll go shopping around the house.

I could move right in!! Your place is delightfully homey, quirky( love all the different colors, textures, and uses of objects that were intended for other purposes), and YOU LOOK SO ORGANIZED and neat!
What cat hair? I only see the ones on the actual cat! LOL! Thanks for sharing- really brightened my day!

Your banner is beautiful. Moving things around allows the energy to flow in different patterns and things don't stagnate. You have a
Home sweet Home.

Gypsy, you must have not enlarged the photos. lol I almost took the lamp pic off. Thanks so much. you made my morning. :)
Gemma, thank you. It was definitely getting a little stagnate after the winter. Feels good to have the energy flowing again. Love you.

Although we've never met, I know it's you. It's a bit artsy with a bit of shabby chic:) I love the hankie too. So warm, beautiful and delicate.

Everything looks so lovely! I like your new blog background too... when did that change? Ugh, I've been so wrapped up with school!

If your schedule isn't too crazy, we should maybe meet for some dinner and knitting/crocheting. :)

Oh gosh yes... the dust the dust. I can't stay ahead of it.....wipe it away and within hours it seems to come right back. I thought it was living in the countryside, but if you are in town then that does not seem to be my answer.

I'm glad spring is finally inching it's way towards Roanoke. IT'S ABOUT TIME!! LoL

Lisa,
I can't thank you enough for your sweet words about my blog. Most creative? An honor I accept with humbleness. You are too kind.

Thanks again,
Dawn
