Hearts and Ice

I hope you guys had a nice Valentine's Day. We did. It was pretty low key. We went out to eat and then came home and watched movies. The Godfather was on all day. In the evening I made a SoulCollage card and started another one. Maybe I'll get it scanned today.

Just checking in. Just for the sake of having pictures, here are some random ones I've taken since I last posted.

Tribute to Brighid. This box holds my SoulCollage cards so I brought her to the front. The candle was an olive jar that I covered with tissue, painted and added novelty yarn and a crocheted beaded wire thingey with a little spiral I also made from wire. Junk drawer art; gotta love it.

Icicles hanging from our house. Mike noticed that they were leaning because of the winds so I had to get a pic. I love the close up. Think I might use that in a collage.

And to bring a smile, look at this! Roanoke has a Valentine Bandit! For several years now, Roanoke has awakened to miles and miles of Valentines. I saw these on the way to the restaurant yesterday. Yay! I thought it was just a Grandin Village thing but they're all over Roanoke! Much love to the Valentine Bandit!!

junk drawer art and "what's in the fridge?" soup are two of my favorite things in the whole world. Those icicles are gorgeous!
