Yesterday was such a nice, relaxing day. I worked on a few projects, including this stitchery. I finished it last night while we bounced between the World Series and the Texas games.
Now I have to decide whether I want to frame it or stitch it into something, like a pillow tuck or ornie. It's kind of a shame to put it behind glass when it smells so good after coffee/vanilla/cinnamon staining it. The pattern is from Twigs n Sprigs. After Zeke got tired of snuggling with us, I looked over and saw him snuggling with these prim chicks. He was asleep but I woke him up grabbing the camera.
These are just a few shots I took around the apartment while I had my camera out for the stitchery this morning.

can you tell me how you stain using these ingredients? My sister is a primitive crafter and always staining something. But I don't believe she's ever used this recipe.
