Playing

Just checking in real quick. I have something to show that dear Mrs. Kwitty sent but I haven't had a chance to take a pic yet.

I know you won't believe this, but the shelf in the livingroom is exactly the same as in the post below. I haven't changed it! lol I've changed a few other things around here and there and am starting to feel settled. I really had to play with it and get having a certain style out of my head and just play until it felt right. Just like when I paint or do anything else creative. It finally feels like us, with our art surrounding us and all that color that we both love. Ahhhh.

I started a painting yesterday. The background is dry and maybe after I get the weekly update out today, I'll try to paint something on it. I have no idea what yet, though. But that's half the fun, right?

Have you seen Diane's frog paintings? Oh my gosh. They are so darn cute. I have an idea, as Ms. Froggy, of buying the bride and groom, the boys, the artist and a girl and arrange them on my wall like family photos. Wouldn't that be awesome? LOL Her prints are so cheap it's amazing so it's totally feasible. :)
