Hey everyone! Things really took off with the business. Patrick has been working so hard and making more work for me. ;) I've been happily designing logos for customers. It's so incredible to be doing what I absolutely love. This is not something I would have ever come up with. It's so true what the law of attraction and law of allowing experts say regarding leaving the "hows" to the Universe. If I had said exactly the kind of job I wanted, I may or may not be happy doing it right now. But I instead focused on happiness, peace, love and joy (I did specify working from home doing some kind of art and writing with Patrick) and here I am doing something that I didn't even know existed and loving every moment of it. I even picked up some new skills to help me do it, but didn't realize it as it felt like I was just playing!

Wednesday night we walked to Surf n Turf. That's another thing I used to visualize. What a thrill to be walking with my beloved husband in a neighborhood I adore to eat yummy food! He had blackened catfish and I had a crabcake sandwich. We both enjoyed every bite of our meals. A couple of Blue Moons to wash it down made it just perfect. We sat outside on a perfect evening and just soaked up our neighborhood.

Thursday night, Patrick grilled some ginormous burgers and we had fresh tomatoes from the garden (do two tomato plants count as a garden?). I had been craving crinkle fries so we had those with our burgers. Yum. We ate and immediately went to sleep. ha! Not used to eating quite that much in one sitting. We're talking mammoth burgers here.

Last night, in fact, we split one of the burger patties and finished up some leftover spanish rice that was in the fridge and it was completely filling.

Tonight our new neighbors are coming back to bbq with us. We're really looking forward to just chilling with them.

The weather has been just beautiful this month. Cool mornings and evenings that entice us to get outside and enjoy!

I've spent most of my non-working computer time the past couple of days looking at this blog. I've really been inspired by her photos and words. I even went out and splurged on new curtains and sheets for our bedroom. And I spent a good bit of this morning reorganizing. I love it when someone can inspire me to redecorate and generally get things spruced up. Be sure to visit her blog, but I'll warn you, it's addictive. She has other blogs and a flickr account. I won't even tell you how many hours I've spent looking at them. I couldn't sleep the night before last and I spent a good bit of the night with her blog and flickr.

Why couldn't I sleep? Well, I finally figured it out. It's like night is Christmas eve and I'm a little kid. I can't sleep for thinking of all the things I can't wait to do the next day. I love my life so much!

I wish I had some new pics to show you but I don't. All my art has been work-related this week but I plan to remedy that over the weekend.

Have a great one!

Lisa,
Your blog, and this post in particular is music to my heart! You never cease to inspire me and remind me of what I know (a what I need to remember too!) Indeed, cultivating the basics of love, genrosity, peace, creativity, beauty, order, trust and surrender..and the "this or something better" paves the way for our highest and best to come to us. Thank you for being the example of that. You walk the talk beautifully!

love you..
