I'm So Excited!

And I just can't hide it... I'm going to be featured in the Artella Daily Muse next week in their "Ask the Artist" column!

This has been quite a week.

Patrick had minor surgery on Wednesday. He is recovering well and we are grateful.

Sunday night at 7pm, I'll be discussing SoulCollage and the Law of Attraction in a Kaleidosoul Kindred Spirits tele-class. I'm pretty nervous (ok...umm....scared...petrified...) but also excited! This is what I listed in my intentions just a few short months ago. I plan to just tell my story and hope that it will be interesting for those calling in. One of my intentions that I'll be focusing on between now and Sunday night will concern being confident and bubbling over with things to share instead of being the aforementioned "petrified." lol

I've been doing lots of shopping this week. Every time Patrick needed something from the store, I seemed to find a few crafty things to pick up. I found a bunch of beads and things on sale at WalMart, got some baby clothes and pillowcases at Goodwill to "upcycle" into dolls and other things and I treated myself to some pretty yarn colors.I also picked up three books; two on stitching and one on decoupage. I love craft books from the 60's, 70's and 80's. I haven't taken pics yet.

I picked up a bunch of books from the library, too. I went to one of our larger libraries which had a great selection. I got some vintagey ones and also some newer ones, like Craftivity, a Cath Kidston book, and I think I picked up a knitting book by Susan B. Anderson. There are so many I can't remember if I got that one or not now. lol I know I looked at it.

We were at the hospital most of the day on Wednesday. Once they had taken Patrick into pre-op and I had some coffee (I wouldn't make it that morning because he couldn't have it and I didn't want him to have to smell it), I went to the waiting room and spent the entire time crocheting. I was so grateful to have started crocheting again and to have something to keep my hands and mind busy.

Take care everyone! Thanks for all your sweet comments and emails. I love you all.

Happy to hear that things went well for Patrick and how exciting for you and the interview.
I told the ladies in Sedona that I will try and comment and not just lurk on the blogs. It is not something that I am good at!
Take care :)
