Patrick hard at work...or play.

We had the best weekend. We got up early Saturday morning and walked the market area, talking with other artists who were selling down there. We're really excited about getting a booth there and also at other festivals and things.

I wore two of my spirit pin dolls and got lots of comments on them. It was good to have them when talking to the other artists because they could see what I would be selling and knew whether it could make it through a jury or not. They felt my dolls would.

After we left the market, we went to a flea market and got lots of stuff to play with. I kept seeing things (shiny, sparkly things) and thinking, "oooh so and so would love this!" lol I had to be very good.

I got some beads and sequins and I picked up some dolls just to see if I would like altering them. I really love making them from scratch. We'll see. If I don't enjoy it, maybe I'll put them up for grabs here for those of you who do like altering them.

I'm off now to do some cleaning. This place is a wreck. LOL But we sure had fun this weekend. :)

xoxoxoxoxoxx Love to you, my friends.

Of course you KNOW I love your dolls. I made a doll pin once...only one...and I wore it on my hat. It had those little "eyes" glued on that wiggled every time I moved my head. I don't know what ever happened to it. Good luck with your marketplace venture. Are you sure you don't want to come to Florida in April and do an outdoor show?

Beautiful dolls as always. The "inspire" one looks like a butterfly who hasn't grown its wings yet. Maybe because it's slim and long... I like it.

*hugs*
