Progress

I did a little alteration to the quiltie I made way back when. I don't like the face I inked onto it so today I covered it up with a paper clay face and now I like it much better. It's hanging in my kitchen grouped with another quiltie I did.

I finished up the stitching on this piece. I added buttons, little fabric collage words and some more stitching. What have we here? Why, that is a French Knot...a PERFECT French Knot, I'll have you know. There is no stopping me now!

I still don't know what I'm going to do with this large stitchery. I really love it and I don't want to put it under glass in a frame because it's so touchable! Maybe a tote? Maybe on the back of a jean jacket? Hmmmmm..... Maybe a pillow? A quilt square? I don't know I don't know. Help!

Why not add tabs and hang it from a dowel or a branch from a tree that you embellish with fibers...I want to see it hanging...These are so wonderfully creative...Love the face!!and all the embellishments...

This is gorgeous Lisa - I like the hanging suggestion, but I also like the idea of it being a pillow or a quilt so you'd be encouraged to touch it. Can't wait to see what you do with it!
