Glimpses of home and a work in progress

Some things never change. My photos are not very clear.

This is a spirit doll I am working on. I love this fabric that LisaOceandreamer sent to me. I've already used it for one doll but I couldn't resist using it again. I used alcohol inks on a paper clay face. When I've finished sewing and stuffing it, I'll do some beading. You can see that my workspace is pretty large. It's a bit cluttered at the moment. Gives it that homey feel. :)

The last two photos give you a little glimpse of the outdoors. This is the table on the front porch. We enjoy going out there at night and lighting a little candle and just enjoying quiet conversation about nothing in particular.

These sunflowers greet me every morning as I sit at the table.

I'm itching to paint but would you believe that in the move, I have misplaced my paints? I must find them!!

Other than misplaced paints, life is great. I am happy. I am content. I am at peace. I know that my life is exactly as it should be at this moment.

I have many things I want to say but the thoughts tend to rush and wrestle each other for expression. When I finally get them sorted out I will share everything.

For now, know that life is wonderful. Life truly can be anything we want it to be.

It feels so good to be back blogging again. I had missed you guys. I had missed expressing myself in this way, as well.

Life is good.

Wonderful post! I'd really be lost without my paints. You are sooo artistic though that I'm sure you'll find other ways of expressing yourself.
