Thankful

Thankful
Originally uploaded by GroggyFroggy.
I saw these "Thankful" letters on Debbie's blog and she got them from Clarice's blog. Clarice was kind enough to offer them for download and printing. Clarice and Deb put them on oval cards and they look really nice, but I had these little square scraps and decided to use them. I turned them to make it more interesting. My printer isn't printing in color right now either, so they're a bit faded (vintage, I like to call it) looking. For true color, check out Deb's or Clarice's blog. Oh, and that lovely coffee/cup painting above is one I purchased from Colette! Take a look.
Thankful

This is a little quiltie I'm working on. I was messing around drawing and came up with this sweet little angel, then I embroidered her onto some muslin and am just adding stuff as I go.

Joy

I am feeling almost 100% better. Thanks for all the love. You definitely got me through it. I am grateful for every one of you.

That angel is just the cutest, I like that she's 'joy' and that you are feeling so much better :) I've been on a bit of a 'downer' this week (of my own doing though). The letters are cute too. We are going to make some hangings for our Christmas tree (me n' the kiddies) and write on some stars blessings to thank God for.

I really like your angel too, she reminds me of Marmalade Atkins (I bet you didn't have her in the US did you?)Anyhoo, she looks slightly *naughty* but not is a bad way! I'm sorry you've been feeling blah, blah can be pretty vile. I've been feeling a sense of injustice and finger itching outrage (grrr!), but God can help blah and He can help grrr. We'll both be all right with Him on our sides, petal!

well the first good news is that you are feeling 100% better, that's music to my eyes(since I didn't HEAR you say it it couldn't be to my ears - lol!)
The thankful banner is a great idea - you could actually expand on the idea and make small squares saying what you are thankful for and hang them like this too. hmmm.
Love the embroidered angel...so glad you are busy creating!!
Love and hugs,
Lisa

That angel is just lovely, don't forget to show us the finished product. Love the banner too.

BTW have I told you how much I love your banner, even though I know it is coming it somehow surprises me - and brings a smile every time I click on my link to you.
