This is the view as I stand on my front porch looking out.

Anyone know? I finally learned to cut these all the way back once they die and they come back just like this. Toward the end of August, early September they get these beautiful purple blooms. The previous owner told me what they are but I can't remember.

See ya later.

love the spirit doll!!!!
as for your view, I have to tell you how envious I am that is what you have to look at. Across the street from us they built a big apartment complex and now 9 new homes...all I see are cement trucks and equipment, workers and lots of noise. we are in an old neighborhood (I am on the corner) and all of this new construction is changing not only the neighborhood but I've lived with the shaking, rattling and rolling now for nearly a year. I want trees and quiet like you have!! lucky you!
XOXO

OH MY GOSH, WHAT A GLORIOUS VIEW. THE DRIVEWAY VIEW LOOKS LIKE A PAINTING IN ITSELF. I LIVE IN A ......QUOTE..."COOKIE CUTTER NEIGHBORHOOD"... I'M ENVIOUS OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL SURROUNDINGS. LOVE YOUR DOLL.

Thanks Lisa! Well, you are welcome here any old time! My sister-in-law had a similar thing happen in Orlando. She couldn't stand all the building and construction. They finally moved to Texas.

Judie, Thanks. I feel pretty blessed, especially early in the morning when the birds are chirping and the coffee is hot and steaming. You're welcome here too. :)

Lovely views ..can't beat the wonder of creation. I looked out of the window this morning and saw a fox...not so wonderful hope he doesn't eat my cat! Lol, kids want me to lock the cat in the house now. Still foxes are part of creation too, but by-gum if he so much as touches my cat...

....he risks no longer being a part of creation? lol I hope your kitty stays safe!

Thank you Hulda! It was bright like that all day, yet cool and comfortable. A perfect day. I think our weather is very much alike.

I have just had the time to read through slowly and thoughtfully what I can only call your very eloquent posting on seasons of friendship. I have to say I thought it was very beautiful and you summed up magnificently how women need women as friends, who help and understand each other. We are all searching for the spirit of things, I don not believe in organised religion but find that spirit in mother earth herself. I applaud your beautiful posting.

Love the spirit doll, you should organise a spirit doll swap. I bet lots of us would try it.

lol, yes well if I had a shotgun this particular fox would no longer be part of creation...however puddy is still ok so no need for drastic measures ;o)
