The Quilting Bug

I've got it. This is what I've been working on today. I have no idea where I'll go from here. lol

I want to thank Sarah at SeekingHisGlory for choosing me as her Blog of the Month. I feel very honored. She is such a fine lady and I enjoy her blog so much. Thank you Sarah. You made my day. :)

I can't tell how big these are. You could make placemats? Or are you going to make a full quilt for your bed. Whatever you choose to do they look very pretty colours.

I had to pick your blog first of course. When I thought of doing it yours was the first blog that came to mind. Lisa, my blogging friend :o)

This is very pretty! It would be a cute quilt by alternating the strips so one block is vertical and the next horizontal. I love doing projects like these!

Sarah I thought about placemats or pillows. I've put muslin strips around the edges of one just to get an idea of how that would look. I can't decide so I took a break.

You're such a sweetie. :)

Mary Ann That's a neat idea. I'll have to try that out, too.

This is fun!

Thanks Isabelle! Nice to see you. You've been a busy lady. :) I was so excited to read about your visit with Shashi. I'm glad the two of you had such a good time together.

The color of your fabric looks very good together. May be it could be a cloth or a pillow? Or placemats, like mrs blythe said. :)

Hulda, thanks. I can't decide. lol I took a break from it and wrote a magazine article that is due. That will help me concentrate better on sewing maybe. I still have one article due and then I can stop worrying about it. :)

You are really taking off on the quilting. So when are you coming to the American Sewing Guild meeting? Thursday night we meet at Rosalind Baptist Church at 6:30. We are making a pin cushion, by hand.

You're so nice to invite me. I'm not sure about sewing in public. lol

I have just posted about our shed. LOL I haven't done anything else to post about. My head is foggy as I couldn't sleep last night and when I finally went to sleep at 4:30am, I dreamed about blogs..something about a contest and a jeep. lol

Here I am again! Lol. We got back from school 1/4 hour earlier than usual - how did that happen? So I have 1/4 hour blog before back to schedule (flylady style!) lol. I even have 'hubby-time' scheduled in - which amuses him no end!

Lol about your dream! Queen of our castle is doing a competition to win a book for sharing our motherly thoughts, not quite a jeep but nice! :o)

Congrats Lisa on being blogger of the month. I'll have to hop over to Mrs. Blythe's site to see exactly what that means. I have so many blogs to catch up on and so many posts on each one of them! Couldn't you guys slow down while I was away?? :)
