Day 2

This is about as typical as can be. I'm getting in the truck, ready to take the kids to school. This is my normal look, including sunglasses and bag. I love this bag. I got it at a yard sale and it even holds a book or my crochet or cross-stitch. My son, Nick, took this pic for me.

Hi, I think you look nice, and your handbag was good too. Have a nice afternoon.

Hi Lisa, my husband will be most jealous (in a totally Christian non-coveting way of course ;o)) of your truck (what are they called on your side of the world? We call them pick-up-trucks) he loves them and it looks like one day I'll be driving one too :o)

You look just delightful, I love those sort of dresses, I did have one but it got ripped.

I started off the day in flowing white skirt - ended the day in denim skirt (kids, tut!)lol.

Hulda, thank you. :)

Mrs. B. I smiled for you. lol :)

Sarah, yes, we call them pick-up trucks also...or Tim sometimes says for fun, pick'm-up truck. I am getting a car next week. It was my grandfather's car and then my mom's car (it's a 93) and now it will be mine. I'm very happy about it. :) Usually one car is fine for us, but occasionally it would be very nice to have an extra.

Lisa you look so lovely and feminine! Dresses are a great item of clothing. You don't have to worry about matching tops and bottoms, not to mention comfy to wear.

Is that your garden Lisa? It's so beautiful and green! You might think that's a strange comment, it's just that we're coming out of a long drought down here. I miss green.

Make that two envious husbands! lol! That vehicle would be called a 'Ute' Down Under.

Kelleigh, thank you. Yes, I am standing just outside the kitchen door where the driveway ends. The fresh dirt you can see next to me is in the little area where I was sitting on the bench the day before. I dug a more definitive line Tuesday evening between the garden area and the lawn and roughed up the soil and raked after weeding. I must say I love all the trees on our property. It is very private here in the summer. we are surrounded all around with this lush green. I often take that for granted! Thank you for the reminder. I will wish rain and green for you.
