Pillow

It's around 5 a.m. and I have just finished making a pillow. I don't sleep well when Tim is at work. I figured I may as well make use of my time. Showing this picture is probably pointless. I did lighten it a bit but the lighting in our room is rather dim and it is, of course, still dark outside. I pulled the wider curtain panels together so you can see how they would darken a room. They are almost large enough to be curtains by themselves but I like the look of the different materials together. The toss pillow is just a gingham/homespun-ish material sewn into a round. I stitched onto it a little thing I was practicing crocheting earlier (from the yarn I purchased yesterday when I purchased the pillow fabric). I think I'd like to make a throw by joining a lot of these little things but I need to practice for that round bit is supposed to be a hexagon. At least I got some use from it. Waste not, want not, right?

Btw, have I mentioned that I enjoy comments (good or bad?)? Was that subtle? : )

I'll just leave a subtle comment, then! LOL I love the originality in making a pillow to use your practice piece on. I would have never thought of that!

Lisa, that looks so primitive like something you find in that cool shop over next to Salem Valley 8, what is the name of that shop? Berry Creek Hollow maybe?

Oh yeah, I keep wanting to stop there. I do like prim but barely prim, not extreme prim. lol In fact, I was supposed to go to bed 30 minutes ago but I was here putting prim graphics on my blog. It's so much fun with all the free stuff out there. Thank you for saying it looks prim because that's what I wanted! So glad you stopped by.
