Herbs Planted

May Maple Beltane Bread. I cut a goddess figure into it but
I broke it a bit as I moved it from cookie sheet to plate.

Our local Community Market opened yesterday. It was great to see old friends there
yesterday. We bought some herbs to plant.

Basil

Oregano
Aqua Mint ~ A Native American Mint
Lemon Balm
Some sort of Italian Parsley that we can't pronounce.
Our Landlord was there at the same time we were and bought some of this
and shared. Wasn't that nice?
They are all in this bed now, along with the Sage.
I look forward to watching them spread, grow, feed us, fill dolls, dream pillows, sachets, become smudge sticks, become part of bath salts and probably other things I haven't even thought of yet.

Have a great Sunday.

We're going to eat breakfast, go for a walk and then I think I'll do some crafting.

What are you going to do with this beauty of a day?

We too went to the market on Sunday. They are always such fun. Now that we are going home this weekend, you know that I will have my garden in by the following weekend. A little late, but it will get there. Seeing your herbs in the ground made me want to play in the dirt. Wishing you a wonderful week!

Hi Lisa, love your herbs. I have a vertical herb garden i received recently and they seem to love it. I have lots of rosemary and lavender bushes they love it here.
I make my own sausage rolls and put nothing but a whole lot of fresh herbs, egg and breadcrumbs and they are yummy...it is the herbs.
